Coming to you in Summer 2009 is the first ever live action version of everyone's favorite 1980's toy line, G.I. Joe.  The film is directed by Stephen Sommers and written by Stuart Beattie.  To the right you can check out a small portion of the characters involved in the movie along with picture links to actor/actress IMDB page.  Production for the film began in February.
Of course the story is set to follow the lines of the Joes battling against the Cobra organization.  The Joes will be based out of the Pit and Cobra Island will be in the movie as well.
The movie looks to already be set up for multiple sequels with Dennis Quaid who is playing General Hawk signed on for two more already.

Not a lot of news recently - pretty quiet right now on the GI Joe front.        You would expect that during filming you could get a bunch of sneak
pics but that hasn't happened as of late.
